Had a call today from a lady with a very strong accent saying she was from Sky and wanted to offer me money off my bill. I had a very similar call a few days ago (not from this number tho) but again it was a lady with very strong accent "from Sky" wanting to offer me money off but I had to give her my email address so that she could verify me. I said I don't know who you are and if you're from Sky then you've already got my email address so can just email me the details. She didn't like that and was a bit pushy so hung up. The call today didn't even get as far as asking me to confirm my email address as I told her you're not from Sky and hung up! It is a scam as I did call Sky to check and was told no it definitely wasn't them calling.
He claimed to be from Vodafone and got funny when I asked him questions about me replacing my SIM card
Just called Vodafone it’s a fraud number don’t give them the code !!!!!
She said she was calling from Vodafone, but she had a very strong accent & I could see she was calling from Aberdeen! Said she wanted to update my SIM card & did I want to keep my number. I hung up. Knew it was a scam
Claiming to be Apple. Hung up phoned another twice. Did no reply clearly a scam
Claimed to be Vodafone and said they are manually upgrading their SIM card due to operational issues. And unfortunately for him, my service provider is EE. He asked if I received a message and I should verify myself on it. The message never came through, he then asked if I use Vodafone or Lebara, I said Lebara. Then he said Lebara is a child network of Vodafone. I hung up and reported scam, blocked him
Quite persistent, I hung up because I could tell it was a scam and he rung another 2 times. Definitely a scam, please avoid.
Claiming to be 02/virgin Asking you to verify yourself once sending an email to you. Do not click any verification buttons on the emails sent to you.
Claimed to be sky offering money off of my bill and asking me to confirm my email address. I said they could send it through if they could send it through if they have my email address. They gave an incorrect address and I said you are not sky and hung up.
