Claimed to be my friend but the Phone said potential fraud and then he hung up

Said they were calling about an accident. The caller ended the call when I asked her which company she worked for.

Some nonsense about an accident I'm supposed to have had three years ago. I asked them to tell me the vehicle's registration. Quite surprised that the caller had a go at making it up!

Claimed to be Motor Insurance Bureau and wanted to get look into my accident that 'was not my fault' which I know it wasn't as I haven't had an accident. Hung up when I told them I hadn't.

They claimed to be claim management company on behalf of MIB ( Motor Insurance Bureau) NOT (Men In Black) I told them my parrot suffered extreme psychological trauma due to my unfortunate NON-accident. I said to them my parrot was standing next to my BBQ when he was told of my unfortunate news and with the shock! Fell straight in to the BBQ. I said to them all was not lost as I fed my family that week!

I answered and they hung up after 3 seconds of silence

I answered by they hung up.

They wanted to tell me I got some money because of the car accident I suffered from a few months ago. The problem is I have never possessed a car ... So it's obviously a scam, very poor, suspiciously poor English, too.

Flagged as 'Potential Fraud' on hiya (built into some android phones). Tried to call back but got invalid number response.
