I've had three calls about my meters being faulty. Didn't consider it to be a scam but now with these other comments i realize it probably was.
Called to say they were from my electricity supplier, saying they were going to replace our company meter, which was faulty, apparently! When I pushed them on it and asked where they were calling from, they called me an idiot and hung up!
