Oh boy, was I stupid. They told me a it was 'Carphone Warehouse', and as I had literally been searching all over the web for SIM only deals, *that very day*, I kinda assumed it was valid, and linked to web searches I'd made previously. Signed up for 2 SIM only deals, gave them ALL my personal info to get the contracts stood up, then when the order confirmation landed in my inbox, it looked dicey as hell. Sure enough, they'd hit my credit card and my bank account within about 10 minutes. Credit card auto-identified it as scam, and didn't pay, my bank managed to reverse the transaction. So, as of right now, I'm not out of pocket. However, the fraud team at my bank point out that now they have my details, they'll be applying for all sorts of stuff in my name, so I guess the game is only just beginning. I doubt I'll get through this unscathed. Ah well, my own stupid fault.

Took about 10 seconds for any response once picked up, then a bubble sound was made and they claimed their name was selena, they asked if I wanted to win an iphone 13 and I didn't hear the rest. They then asked what phone I had, I said that's none of your business, she then said "no sir, you dont understand, giveaway" I then repeated myself saying it isnt their business and she said "thank you very much have nice day" and hung up.

Man with heavy indian accent saying he's from Carphone warehouse and trying to sell me an iphone. Extremely unprofessional, when I refused he said "oh by whyyyyy, you must have the new iphone" and then point blank refused to remove my details from their register. Blocked and reported.
