I called Darwin insurance and was halfway through the procedure when the line went quiet. I received a call from this number and it was my call handler saying that she was cut off and she doesn't know why. Because this number is different from the one that I called, I said that I wasn't comfortable giving my credit card details to someone that had called me. I said that I would call back on the published Darwin line instead to proceed to payment. She was fine about it. I'm sure that this probably was legit, but I never give out my details to someone who calls me, especially when the number has a different area code. Proceed with care.
