Called me and said he was from Carphone Warehouse, talking about promotions on handsets and asked what handset I had.......when I told him this was a business phone, he said "yes I know your company has given us your number".......total rubbish! Its not a business phone its my phone, clearly a scam call so hung up
Just phoned me. Its a SCAM number. Just block it.
Rang my mobile. Said he was calling from P C world about my mobile. Could barely speak English. I asked why are you ringing me? He rattled off something about promotions - in poor English. I hung up and blocked.
Noted missed call (unrecognised number), identified as Leicester area, where several friends live. Returned call- answer message stated 'Aspect Company' - clearly unsolicited, so ended call.
Called me and claimed to be from the O2 network, but couldn’t confirm any of my details, staying it’s a security thing.
Had a call from this number pretending to be O2, telling me they were switching everyone from 4G to 5G. He had a text sent to me from O2 with a security code and asked me to tell him the code (the text clearly stated to not give this to anyone including O2 staff. If O2 staff are asking for this code, they are not really O2 staff). Clearly just trying to log into my account.
Called pretending to be O2. Told me I was using 4G instead of 5G. When I started asking questions, he hung up.
I don't use this phone for incoming. So ignored this incoming one. it can only be a scam or unsolicited because I don't give my number out.
Claim to be from O2. THEY ARE NOT THIS IS FRAUD CALL. They send you a one time 6 digit PIN. If you give it them they will then ask for the answer to your security question. Once they have that they will have full access to your online O2 account and will start ordering phones in your name. DO NOT GIVD THEM THE 6 DIGIT CODE OR SECURITY QUESTION ANSWER
They rang me on my mobile & I answered it & nobody spoke so I hung up.
Asked for a Mrs Rockhill, then asked why I had her phone (obviously I don’t, it’s mine). I put the phone down.
Pretending to upgrade my O2 contract and I’m not even on O2! Total scam. They hung up
They hung up when I answered. I called back, the recorded introduction email said that they were "Aspects Communications" - a quick google search lists a few companies with that name, none of which are in the Leicestershire area so I suspect it's a spam call.
They called me today but after 3 seconds of air time they hung up.
