Lady pretended to be from EE saying there were issues with my account. I said "I'm not with EE" and then she said "Why are you talking to me then Mam" and hung up - the cheek!!!!
Lady said she was calling from EE - I work for EE. Complete scam do not give out any details
They said they were from EE and offered me a discount which would of being ridiculous as I have 3 phones on my contract and no company would lose that much money
Another call from a scammer pretending to be from EE. 'Hello sir how are you today etc' Piss off of eh?
i suspected a scam so kept quiet. i could hear call centre chattering in the background as as the caller had a south asian accent it was clear the call was a scam so i hung up
Woman said she was calling from ee I put the phone down
First call from this number.checked on line .negative rating. Smart phone identifies call as “spam”
It pretends to be EE. I gave them my DoB and email address. I am not really bothered about that. But on the call they send an email to you and I checked the email address and it was reported as fraud - scam. Also they offered me discounts and an apple watch etc etc. I stopped the call before they asked me for my bank details. I told the lady to go and get a real job and she hung up. but at least I kept them on the phone for 15mins away from a potential victim. I can't believe this approach still works on some people.
An advisor tried to sign me up for a two factor authentication via a code they sent to my account and asked me to share with them. Had I given them this code, they would have taken over my account. Be careful what you share with people over the phone. Always call them back yourself to ensure it’s the correct company you are talking to
Pretending to be EE and sent a code to my phone from EE to give to her. When challenged she hung up
