0113 419 9990 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Two calls from this number today. I don't answer calls if I don't know the number and have now blocked it. However, if you block it, doesn't this mean that it WAS a valid number and they'll just call from a different one? Sick of this rubbish, number registered with TPS, but doesn't make a difference.

Put their number on my block call list check it every day and already had 3 calls from them today so glad I have blocked them

Called by 'Fiona Weedon' from the so called 'Pension Review Service' on 22/5/15. Said they looked at frozen pensions and helped you out with them....what ever that means. I would have someone call on me to take my pension policy nos. away with them along with my NI no.! They would take 4 wks to do a review. She tried to make it sound legitimate by saying I would get a confirmation call the day before and they will have id. She sounded as if she was fumbling around with answers when I asked questions, unsure about what to say. After listening to see what they were after I read all these comments, Thanks to everyone who bothers to do this and 'if in doubt, do nothing'...its so true. Called by 0113 419 9990 - saying "I had been paying in to a pension company for the last 7 years and under new law, they had to 'update' all my records", when i said thats clever, since I have only been working for the last two years, they hung up very quickly!!!

After saying 'hello' for the 5th time they hung up, have had several 0113 numbers calling lately all blocked

this number called me y/day and today ,when i answered thay took a while to speak than asked iv thasy were speakin to sharon when i said yes thay put the phone down , thay said at the start thay were a pension company,

Totally fed up with these people calling me, like other people have said -how did they get my mobile number as I don't give it out. Just another scam! As it states it's an area code from the UK why are they not taken down.

Called me today at 6.15pm (good Friday) on my mobile. When I asked who the company were she couldn't give me details - nor a company number. When I asked where she got my number - couldn't tell me. Told her I searched their number as it came up as a scam number and she said - I don't know anything about that. I asked them not to contact me again. Ignore this number or block it is you can

They ring, when I answer, it says please leave a message after the tone then it goes dead. Keeps ringing me all the time

Woman called to advise she wasn't selling anything. Calling on behalf of a pension review scheme & it was to do with a frozen pension. When I asked her which company she put phone down. Have now blocked number

I have had several calls form this bunch and theirs. One lot before engaged in conversation about some charity work and some weeks later rang up to say that I had agreed to a donation, which I had not done - turns out they recorded the conversation and then edited it. If you are unfortunate enough to speak to anyone, my advice would be to not give your name and make sure you only say 'No'...... L

No idea who is calling as my phone is permanently switched off now due to the amount of cold calls that come through. They apparently tried to phone me 3 time today within about an hour and a half.

Of these idiots phoning me, go away and get a proper job!!!

Called me asking about life insurance – apparently legislation keeps changing and they need to do a review every 18 months. They also were very keen to find out about my mortgage. The chap on the phone was very disappointed to find out I didn’t have a mortgage, even more so when I told him my life insurance came through my employer – the financial crime unit. For some reason he quickly ended the call. Avoid!

I don't know how got my number but pestering and highly irritating

FIRST RESPONSE ASKING IF i HAD BEEN IN ANY CAR OR BUS ACCIDENTS, I BET THEY WOULD THEN GO ABOUT TRYING TO GET AS MUCH INFORMATION OF ME FOR FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES FROM ANYTHING BANK ACCOUNTS TO BOGUS ACCIDENT CLAIMS TO INSURANCE COMPANIES TO LOCAL COUNCIL BE AWARE I WAS ASKED IF I HAD BEEN INVOLVED IN ANY ACCIDENTS ON A BUS OR CAR FROM A WITH HELD NUMBER AND AS I MISSED SOME CALLS I NOTICED THAT THE AREA THE NUMBER COVERED WAS SIMILAR TO THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THE MAN SAID HE WAS FROM FIRST RESPONSE. NOW WHEN I RANG THERE WAS MUSIC AND WHEN SOMEONE PICKED UP I COULD HEAR MUFFLED VOICES AND WHEN I SAID YOU CALLED EARLIER THEY HUNG UP. I WATCHED WATCHDOG AND THEY SAID CON ME YOU RECORDINGS OFF BUSY OFFICES TO MAKE THEM SOUND BELIEVEABLE MY ADVICE IS PRESS THE RED BOTTON AND DO NOT EVEN ANSWER THERE IS DEFINATELY SOMETHING DODGEY GOING ON HERE

This company called and told me they were the pension service. They needed to know the details of my pension providers and dates i had changed because there had been some misselling and they were looking to get me some compensation I told them i had only one pension provider throughout my working life. They told me that I must give them dates. When I asked why they hung up

just replied to this number;01134199990, they are a cold calling company phoning people regarding "new legislation" in the pension market, kindly told them to check their records as I don't have a pension!!!
