Like many here, claimed to be from EE offering 30% discount for being a loyal customer. When transferred, double checked that the discount was for Tescos mobile (come on, can't even keep your story straight). Wanted them to confirm my address so I knew I was talking to who they claimed they were, tried to dodge and they hung up after I explained I'm just doing this to make sure it isn't a scam call.
Called and when I answered no one spoke and then it cut off
Asked to speak to Jack which is not my name. Asian voice ...I then cut off the call.
Call from an Asian man , stating he was from EE offering me a discount. Told him to not call me thanks and put the phone down. Obvious scam !!
As previous comment, just been called by this number by a guy who said he could reduce my phone bill by 30% for being a loyal customer. He put me through to a ‘supervisor’ who also told me the same. I asked her what my new bill would be with the 30% discount but she didn’t have a clue! She asked me for my email address but I told her if I was a loyal customer then she will have it on record. She then became aggressive and said ‘I can see we’re not going to get anywhere with you’ then she put the phone down!
Claimed to be from sky, Asian gent said he will reduce my monthly bill by 30% but didnt know what my bill was, when i made up a figure he just reduced that figure by 30%.. convenient. he then transferred me and wanted my account details, no chance buddy!
