I, too, have been charged over £6 for a call I KNOW I didn't make. Have reported this to EE and they're putting a stop to that number being called by my phone. So annoying. Here's hoping no-one else has this issue. One call. 16 seconds. Over £6.00.

I appear to have made a 13 second call to this company which has cost me £6.83 - I have no recollection of calling them- the number appears to belong to this company - Square 1 Communications Ltd In Wiltshire- [email protected] - 08844 499 4545. I would like to give them a piece of my mind but on the other hand I don’t think I want them to know anything about me.

I also have been charged £13.86 for calling this number, apparently in March 2026; I called my mobile provider, who despite reading all the comments on this page, will not accept that the call was not made from my phone/SIM :-( Well done BT for supporting their customers and offering refunds.

Call to this number never made charged £6.30 for a duration of 38 seconds

I was charged for a call to this very expensive Premium Rate 09.. number - we made no such call. I refused to pay £6.30 for an alleged 18 second call that we did not make. I reported this to the BT billing team and BT made a refund. My advice to others is to report this as a fraud and to demand a refund. This will pressure BT to detect this fraud and to put a stop to it.
