Caller pretended to be an employee of Santander with an urgent message they had previously called me on 03337591024 I did not return the call and have contacted Santander

I'm told by Santander that the call I got from this number was from them. HOWEVER the call following from a "PRIVATE NUMBER" was a scam! In my case I had completed an emailed form allegedly from the Post Office requesting £2 ish for underpaid postage. This had given the scum my bank details. They attempted to pay Deliveroo with these details, which didn't happen, but caused Santander to send me the automated phone call from this number, before they called me directly on the "PRIVATE NUMBER". They got nothing from me, and Santander changed my card 🙂
