We have now had 2 calls from this number claiming to be from National Grid First ones claims to warn of power cut Second one then to inform cut sorted but advising press links Live in Wales
I received a missed call from this number. It cannot possibly be Western Power for something which I allegedly signed up for since I have no gas or electricity and haven't done for years. (My choice, by the way). So it is definately a scam.
Said they were Wesrern Power Distribution and would inform us of any impendig power cuts
It's not a scam at all! There are some right paranoid plonkers on here! It's Western Power Distribution making a courtesy call about the power cut in your area! Why did you sign up for the Priority Services Register, if you don't want updates?! Some people.
Can anyone tell me if this is a genuine Western Distribution number please?
Said it was Western Power about an outage that was going to occur.
19 Jan 2022. Said was western power and to press any key to forward a message about potential powercut. Why not just leave the message. Didn't do it.
They said emergency number from western power warning about a power cut ?
