Claimed to be Jack Weston, a senior personal Banker from the Derby branch of NatWest. Wanted to know if I was interested in hearing about how they've could help me save money and make the most of my account. I hung up and blocked them. They tried to call twice more but failed due to the blocking. I then got a text detailing that they'd just tried to contact me blah blah and to call that mobile number back or use a "natwest" email. I THEN got an email about a genuine call from Natwest, but the "from" email was: [email protected] This sudden push of banking calls has me worried as they are asking for me by name and know I used the Derby branch... I also had one yesterday from 08002606490 (they were masking their number behind the real NatWest Customer Support number) (I have also reported this here on this site and obviously I will be forwarding it all to [email protected]). Gives aways were: •Calling from a mobile number; •He stubled a few times. His pitch didn't have the energy you'd expect from a senior member of staff.
