They said someone was trying to make payment from my account to pay for a hotel £90 I looked at my online banking and saw nothing of the sort text me saying they froze my card and to text 1 or 9 to confirm it was me or not also last 4 digits on my card to make it look real but I knew what they were trying to do and I blocked the number and reported it

This text was genuine . It is from AIB (NI) . They put a hold on my card for some irregular payments as they thought. I rang them on the official number to accept payments and unblock my card

message from AIB Bank - We placed a hold on your card .... Never had my bank txt me this before. If payment doesn't go through I'm sure the shop or my bank will be in contact. I will update when I find out more.
