They are pretending to be council and denied to be a scam but also asked for my whatsapp details and also seemed to already have my address and number so it seemed legit but it's not

To add, she called from a number assigned to Citrus Mobile. I noticed her accent and queried it, she said she was based in Manchester, so why a global e-sim?

Lady claimed to be from an independent company checking life assurance policies. Could not even tell me who i have one. I explained she would be asking for data she should already have as she claimed to be affiliated with the fda, so would not be taking the call further. She did know my name, and my mobile. Sounded suspicious to me as the call came from a mobile number in what was clearly a large open plan office.
