Contacted me claiming to be copart UK regarding a vehicle involved in collision well over a year ago. Have some details of the vehicle so seems a more convincing scam, please do not click the links. I've also had messages from the insurer (or claiming to be) so it is pretty elaborate.
I received a message today, with the origin apparently Copart UK, asking me to click a link to arrange collection of the car that was involved in an accident. The car was taken away months ago and is held by Copart UK. I do not have the car and I have not called the mobile number, this looks like a SCAM. I called Copart UK and they confirmed its a scam.
Sending text messages everyday about a car that was written off over a year ago! Only provided web links and a mobile phone number. No landline number. Do not respond as it's obviously a scam.
Tex message with web links and this number as a help line after making an AXA insurance enquiry… and on a Sunday when AXA said they’d on,y contact me on week days. Beware! This is a personal number and likely fraudulent
Said they were from an insurance company in a text sent. operating under enterprise as a company called Copart. having just been in an accident and waiting for a call from enterprise regarding my car I called the number but an automated voice answered saying that my interest has been registered and then they hung up on me.
