Scam text message about a job unknown from a company unknown that stating you applied for and so wants to invite you for an 18-min video presentation. Total scam. Do not engage at all.

Thank you for posting this. I have just received the same text, also after joining REED. I've now blocked the number. You are the only person who has commented on this number as far as I could see. Shame that they are preying on job hunters. It's utterly despicable really.

24-hours after uploading a CV to REED job portal this number messaged to say an application had progressed to a Webinar to explain the job more. No individual or company name, reference to the role or job ID. Assumed used by fraudsters to confirm phone numbers on the site work prior to commencing scamming or selling data. If you call the number an American voice garbles meaningless automated waffle before cancelling the call. This website shows this number had been searched 116 times previously and that the number operates from multiple UK cities, highly likely a scam number used to glean personal data. I suggest other individuals also report it, they've managed to get away with at least 116 times so far... How about we help each other out people, come on!
