No phone ring, just a SMS saying I missed a call. This is a typical scammer type of thing. Phone doesn't ring, a text saying there was a missed call and as the number appears legit recipients are more likely to call it back, not me though. If the call was genuine the caller would either call back or at least leave a voice message. If the caller only allows for one ring, at his . her end then hangs up the phone being called won't ring, it can't go to voicemail so it simply activates the missed call text. Do not ever call any number back, that does this. As I have already stated, a legitimate caller will call again. There's also the possibility that it's a spoofed number and caling back will cost you a good few £s per minute for doing so.
