Pretending to be HMRC. threatening prosecution. Blocked
I agree with you as I got many calls like this before & I looked on the internet & they said the same and also if the number is active. This number called & as someone else did I didn’t answer .
Scam number claiming to be EE. Soon as I said I'm not with EE they hung up.
SCAMMER. They want to Hijack you SIM card. You will get a text from your network provider with a PIN. Don't give up this PIN. Your phone number is linked to everything from your email to your bank account. That's why SIM card exploits can open the door to broader system intrusions and identity theft. Once hackers control your number, they can: Bypass multi-factor authentication (MFA) or two-factor authentication (2FA
Said they were from EE and they had a promotion. Asked how much my last bill was. I said if they are EE they would know that information. They hung up.
Called earlier today, didn’t answer. I put the number in WhatsApp and shows a photo of an older gentleman smiling ..
SCAM. Just called me pretending to be EE. Offering a fantastic upgrade deal on the latest Iphone. I refused yo confirm my email address so they sent a realistic looking SMS from EE come through with Authentication Code which I also refused to give. They switched the caller on me to someone more experienced. They became aggressive but I knew it was a scam from the start. I asked what they weather was like in Delhi. The response was "s*ck my d*ck" to name but a few. Hey, managed to keep them on the phone for 14 minutes and 2 seconds whilst eating my lunch.
