They called, left voice message, sent a text, threatening to cancel my Lloyds debit card. I did not respond. Account was OK, BEWARE

Fake SMS claiming to be Lloyds bank after card skimming fraud

Lloyds bank fraud attempt, claiming they'd decline card transactions.

Texted they were from Halifax, knew the transaction details asking me to confirm the payment. Haven't done anything as I suspected fraud.

Said they were from Halifax and were going to block future card payments

claimed to be BOScotland and knew the exact details of a card payment that I had that was declined , even knew the last 4 digits of my card. really worried so phoned Bank who were totally useless. I dont know how this happened but my account was ok, maybe they can hack Tesco machines
