Rang claiming they were from Claims Assist and wanted to talk about an accident that I never had so they ended call
Didn’t answer as unknown, came here to look. Will block.
Didn’t know number. Didn’t answer. Went on this site to report it. And blocked number
Told me they were from Three and wanted to send a new Sim to my email. I told them my email was piratebutt (made them say it out loud multiple times and got offended and said it wasn’t actually piratebutt). Then I gave them a new email which was smellybutt. At this point they knew I was onto them so they told me they were actually a student at Nottingham university (from India) on a student visa. I said they should try to find a job, it’s not worth it for them to be doing this. They agreed. I told them “goodbye smellybutt” and they said “goodbye whore” - I’d be offended but I am not someone who gets butthurt.
Said my sim was going to run out. Sounded like a scam as i've never heard of that. Hung up when i was mid rant. He could have at least heard the end of it 5 hours later.
said they were from sky and offering me a free upgrade. I wasted their time until they hung up
They said they were from EE and would give me a 40% reduction, they sent me a 4 digit code which I told her, then she asked for my first and last name and email address, surely if this was legit they would have known my details. I hung up and blocked the hem.
Called me saying the were from EE and that my sim was being cancelled in 2-4 days - scam
they said it was someone from EE so i hung up.....I canceled a contract with three the day before so i assume the company knew this and was touting for business. shouldnt be allowed
I answered and they hung up immediately so I just blocked it the number
Pretending to be EE. Why would they call from a Vodafone number if legit
