Called to say that my Amazon account had been compromised and I needed to give them remote access to cancel an order for an Apple Watch! I checked the number and told her that the number was coming back negative and she put the phone down - be vigilant
They said it was HMRC and legal action was taken. I pressed 1 to speak to officer but none was speaking.
regarding my sky package - i dont have sky
Claimed to be from bank security, Asian lady got quite irate when I said it was a scam
My phone warned it was probably a scam call. Didn’t pick up. No message was left.
Rang out for 20 seconds, was unable to answer in time. As such, unable to confirm caller intent. They did not attempt a second call so presume it's not that important.
O2 Virgin Media merger sending a new SIM card - I ended the call
Never left a message but said it was customs and revenue regarding court claim it is total scam
Pretending to be EE offering discount.
Called. No one spoke. Hung up after a few seconds.
Said they were from hrmc and I was having legal action against me. Scam
Didn't Answer the call. Leaving text messages and voicemail (Asian) asking me to sign car finance claim form to proceed with my claim. I know it is fake as I have not had car finance for decades.
Scam call. Don't answer!
Tried calling back and the call was cut off...
