I had this number call me today. Said they were going to send a "code" and asked for my date of birth to "make sure the benefit went to the correct person". I waited for the code (which obviously never came) so I said I'm not giving out any personal information until I at least had some information to confirm they were legitimate. She kept insisting for my date of birth so I said "you know what? They have my details. If they're going to give me a loyalty discount, I'll get one. If not I'm not bothered" and hung up.
