A man called my mobile phone on Mon 11th March 2024 @09.30 and asked to speak to my wife. Thinking why not call her on her phone, I asked what it was about. He replied, "It's about her credit card", I said there is no problems there and ended his call. I though it suspicious and to warn others. 03456006611 might be a scammer?
Genuine number. Called Nationwide directly after missing the original call where they reported suspicious transactions on my credit card
Mobile call asking if it would be convenient to talk, I said no and called the number on the back of my card. They confirmed that they HAD NOT fried to contact me so can only assume it was a potential scam.
I called this number to pay my credit card bill but when it turned red with potential fraud I was dubious so I didn't sign in I will have to go to my local branch
Nationwide number. I phoned 08000556611 which is on the back of my Credit Card, top left corner and was told that the number had changed to 03456006611, I stayed on the phone and got transferred to a gentleman who said they were concerned about some of the payments on my Credit Card, he went through a security check and then asked about different payments into and out of my Credit Card account, some he told me about which I confirmed were correct and one payment into the account again confirmed by him. After these checks he answered a couple of questions that I asked him and he said that in a short time my account would be in use again.
Had a phone call last night from this number, my credit card has been blocked and my Internet banking, I was due a call this morning to reinstate my online banking, but I have had no call and my online banking is suspended
This is the correct number for Nationwide Credit Card Customer Service. I had a call from them but wasn't sure so I called the 0800 number on the back of my credit card and there was a message saying that the 0800 number has changed to 03456006611 I called them and there had been a genuine security issue where a payment to my local council had failed part way through and they had temporarily suspended my card. All sorted out within a few minutes via this number
Letter received claiming they are nationwide banking asking for a credit card payment or I'll be supended

Said he was from nationwide wanted details of my credit card for him to identiify me . I said you called me. He said he was a trainee . I sent a message to nationwide online
