0345 450 0269 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

I am sick to death of getting calls from 0345 450 0269. They don't say anything then hang up. It is a complete pain, as it disrupts both my home and work life. I want them to stop. What can I do>

EE have confirmed via twitter this is a scam number pretending to be EE. Block immediately.

Had 6 calls from this number, ignored every time. Bloomin nuisance!!!

I also contacted EE's Technical support on 150 and I queried on who it was trying to contact myself and others. The call centre agent said that it is EE and that it is regarding broadband. So basically the fact of the matter is if you don't want to receive these phone calls call 150 on your mobile device and opt-out of the phone calls from EE's broadband.

Got a phone call from that number yesterday but I didn't answer as I don't have the number saved..I don't know who it is but a lot of people were saying it was a scam

Fed up with EE, three days of them telephoning, all from different numbers! I do not answer the calls, I just Google the number, have blocked the numbers but I am going to change my provider asap.

This is a private number and I am on the telephone preference service. You do not have the right to pass on my details unsolicited. Therefore I would politely request that you do not call again. I believe that you are something to do with EE. Although I have a number from them and CURRENTLY have them as a phone provider I am not on contract and therefore only need not to top the phone up again and find another provider. Whilst this would be temporarily inconvenient to myself I can assure you that should I receive anymore unsolicited calls, it is an inconvenience that I will bear. they've called me 5 times but luckily I've never been able to answer. they never leave a message. given what others are saying I'm going to try getting away from their tentacles

If you go into your calls history and hold your finger over the spammy number you should get a menu up and just click on "block number" I was sick of getting calls off this number and was told to do this and I have now blocked all spam calls.

Hi, I understand this caller is not actually from EE although they said they were, is there a way to block them please?

Female caller, from EE. She asked how I was finding my PAYG service, I said it was fine, and then she hung up. So I guess i could say the phone is fine, but their customer service is pretty rubbish.

My advice is get a giffgaff sim keep your old number cos if you don't you won't get any trash calls get it on a £5 hokey cokey and when they call you for every minute you keep them talking you gain a minute credit so keeping them talking knowing your earning credit can be fun sometimes!!! I was on T-Mobile for years and it was OK till it wasn't T-Mobile anymore then trash calls higher tarrifs etc

Called today, but since I did not know the number I did not answer. See on the blogs it looks like a scam/cold calling sell.

Had about two calls in one month from these people claiming to be EE. I'm not convinced they are. The lady didn't seem to know my name and asked me if I often exceed my mobile phone data. I replied, if you're calling from EE wouldn't you know the answer to that? She seemed baffled. Phone number blocked!

Suggest you don't answer, if this person really wants to contact you, they will leave a voice mail, you then have a choice

As soon as I answered they hang up! Will not answer in the future.

I have received a call from 03454500269 for the last three days and as I do get a lot of unwanted calls I have now blocked it. Can I suggest that if you receive a call from a company asking you if you could answer some questions, ask if its a survey and refuse if they say it is. Unfortunately I made the mistake of accepting a while ago and I had dozens of cold callers everyday. Never again.

Got a call today, glad this forum exists now just blocked the caller on my iPhone. Not sure why others let these nuisance calls bother them so much, just block them, feature is available on apple and android devices. Takes seconds.

Get daily calls from this number. I don't wish to have a conversation and it's not in my phone book, so I drop call them every time. It's just a nuisance having to do so every time as a blooming inconvenience!

They called me two days in a row. I answered second day and they did not reply and then as I hung up a woman said hello. Hope I don't get charged like people have suggested. Also just to let people know EE DO NOT COLD CALL. It is a 3rd party. I only say this because two of my relatives have been called by EE 3rd party (my relatives are also on EE), and were offered really good phone deals - too good to believe. One of my relatives phoned EE after (on 150) and EE told them that EE don't have a sales team that cold call and nothing was on the system etc. It's just scary because with the second relative the cold caller knew exactly how much money we spent on PAYG each month and our usage etc - which sounds like they have access to the EE system. Also they were extremely rude when my relative said they would have to think about it and extremely pushy, making my relative feel very pressured to buy the phones. Luckily they didn't.

This number has rang me last 4 days, sometimes at least twice a day. I have now added it to reject list.

I just recieved a call off this number and I have now blocked them using my iPhone. They say it's EE calling, but I have EE already as a contact with the phone. Be careful what they say they are providing.

I have calls from this number constantly, saying they're from EE, but on the EE website they give you a list of numbers that they call from and this is not a registered EE phone number so be careful.

This number is calling my wife's mobile every day for the last 4 days. It is unsolicited and a nuisance.

EE/Orange users can report nuisance calls by calling 150 and reporting the offending number. By the way, EE (and their chosen partners) do not use any numbers beginning 0345 to call you.

Yes definitely EE, I had a long chat a few weeks ago with the caller about iPads, they're trying to sell you a contract on a new iPad. I wish I didn't talk to him as now they keep calling. They're polite enough but just keep calling.

Got a call from this number. Say they are from EE and then just hang up. I called EE services on 150 and reported it they tried to say its not them but a third party who sell their services. Then i said i don't want to be called again from it and the guy made a note on the system.
