Childish sounding woman, knew my name and claimed to be from BT and asked me to confirm my address ,which I stupidly did. As soon as I challenged who she was ,she hung up. Checked with BT ,it wasn't them ,but have asked them to provide a security question for me in future before they talk to me,which they will do.
Phone rang, I picked up, no answer. I hung up. Half an hour later, same thing. This happened 3 times in space of 4 hours!!! NOT happy!!!!
sick to the back teeth of this company - I am also registered with the TPS - I thought the government were supposed to be cracking down of this vermin - it's bloody annoying - comments suggest it is marketing company either for energy providers or for virgin media My guess is that these fucking pests ring up to get an idea of the times you are likely to be in and then pass the details onto others so they contact you when you are most likely to be home
This person telephoned me today asking for Mr George who does not live here. He then went on to say that mine was a recycled BT number and that in fact it was his own number. He claimed to be calling from BT and started wanting to ask me questions about my telephone account. I then ended the call and said I did not wish to speak to him.
Got a call today. Said she was from BT. When I said I was just about to call them because I had a problem with my BT system she said that she wouldn't be able to help. So obviously NOT BT.
Several day time calls in past 3 weeks (sometimes more than 1 per day). I have been out each time so have never been in a position to answer, but no message has been left on any occasion.
Whoever it is has been ringing our number several times a day for about a week now. I actually answered it this morning but the line was dead. I went out and when I returned, lo and behold, there was a missed call from the same number. It's enough to drive you crazy.
I've been getting almost daily calls from this number for many weeks now. I don't answer it because I fear it might be a spam call - somebody trying to sell me something quite possibly. I have tried posting this request on another site but they don't know who it is either. Has anybody actually answered this call and if so, I'd be glad to know who it is and if there's any way of stopping it - it is extremely annoying !
