0344 543 9199 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

man called two of our office mobile numbers and quoted the company name. Said he was from LCS or LCF and quoted a reference number. Wanted me to answer security questions and I said I would not give out information over the phone. He then said it was a HMRC debt and I should call back. I didn't. Very odd call and how did he get two of our office mobile numbers?

Confident lady claiming to be from HMRC, is that Mr ****** guessing name BLOCK NUMBER

Text claiming LCF and offering help with HMRC debt. Checked HMRC online account and nothing owing and no letters. Now this is ‘similar’ to LCS genuine number but didn’t leave message. Now Blocked.

A man called asking for the business owner he gave a reference but could not talk about the matter. He called the London Business number for our company in London. He said that his company was LPL.

they rang me today, automated caller asked something about a business and to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did. Then some guy picked up and all I could get out of him was that he "works for a company called LCF (?) and they work on behalf of clients". He said that unless I could go through the data protection questions, he could not continue the call. I said "sure, can I have your full name, address, date of birth and NI number, because I've never heard of your company" - he said his first name and wouldn't give me any other information! He said if I could not go through data protection then he could not continue with the call, then hung he up.

Caller wanted to speak to someone with same surname as me but could only give an initial. I asked who they were and the caller said that it was a firm called LCF acting on behalf of a client. She would not give me any further information

I received a call from this number and a man claiming to be from LCF, acting on behalf of a client asked for me by my name. He said it was a personal matter and he wanted me to go through their security with me. I asked him, who his client is and how did he get my number. He refused to answer and I then informed him that I am not willing to disclose any information to a stranger on the other end of the phone, I asked if he’s aware of the laws around these types of calls and GDPR. He said I I could end the call, which I did immediately. The number that called me was 03445439199 - Do not trust this number if you receive a call from it.

When you answer a recording asks if they could speak to my business and it was about a personal matter. Told me if correct to press 1 - which I did. Then told all operators were busy. At that point I hung up. Maybe genuine but pretty sure it's not.
