I was called today from allegedly an energy company. I have electricity only on an economy 7 meter. They wanted to charge £80 per calendar month I currently pay £152. Brilliant! I asked their per unit cost day rate 20p+ night rate 12p+. I currently pay day rate 16.1p night rate 9.6p. The young woman (with North East accent) could not explain how they got their figures. Also there was someone “helping” her with the call. She did agree that she couldn’t see how it worked out either. Is this a scam to get a hold of your bank details? You decide…

Company calling regarding "helping you to save money with your energy bill" said I wasn't interested and the lady got pretty much upset saying: who wouldn't be interested into saving money. Scam! I just hung up the phone and blocked the number.
