Saying there from ee doesn’t ring. Answer straight away

Said they were James from Domestic & General. I hung up, I do have cover with them but didn’t wish to speak to them, and doubted they were genuine. I then immediately received a text from a different number (01412805598) saying it was D&G and they wanted to offer me additional appliance cover. Gave me a number, again different, (01412805117) to reply yes and they would call me back. I have blocked all numbers.

Called. When I answered, they hesitated then say, sorry missed you, please call us on some 0900 number. No identity left

Said they were domestic and general. Had my appliance details and name. Call cut off halfway through. Very suspicious call….why call when I’ve already taken cover out only 2 days ago.
