Not genuine. I checked the number 03330459505 with Lloyds on their chat as I got the text late at night from "Lloyds Bank" and voicemails left from the number and this is what they said: "I’ve checked our systems and I’m unable to find any record of calls or messages being sent from the number ending 9505, and it’s not listed as one of our official Fraud Prevention contact numbers. As there are no decline alerts or restrictions showing on your card, and nothing to indicate attempted transactions, this does suggest that the messages and calls you received were not genuine Lloyds communications. For your safety, please ignore any texts or calls from that number, and don’t ring it back or share any personal or banking details. Your new card is active and working normally. If you ever receive another suspicious message, the best approach is exactly what you’ve done here — check with us directly."
Messaged me and phoned supposedly to ask if I had made a purchase of an amount. Apparently blocked the payment and the card. Gave me the last digits of Lloyds credit card.
Allegedly from Lloyd's Bank. I did not accept call.
same issue. I did not reply. Appears to be a scam.
A Scam, Claiming in a Voice Mail to be from Lloyd's Bank Fraud Prevention Team concerning a Credit Card and asking me to ring that number. The number does not belong to Lloyd's Bank
Claimed to be Halifax fraud department saying my debit card was being used and to press any button to carry on...…...This is a SCAM!!!!!!!.....do not proceed......
Claims to be from Lloyds Bank, asks for someone who does not live here and is unknown to me. If Lloyds really do want to prevent fraud they should have updated their databases at least once in the last 20 years!
Sent me a SMS then when I ignored it, an automated voice rang and told me to press any button on my phone. This is a scam!
Text purporting to be Lloyds fraud department - not the number on Lloyds website. Said a card payment made by me had been declined. Asked me to call. Phoned me next morning and again asked me to call. I didn't.
this call is for Anthony ********* regarding suspicious activity on your account
