First Direct: Hello, we've noticed your card was used for an online purchase at Argos.co.uk for £140.00 on 13-07-2025 (Reference: AC8491LG8X). If you made this transaction reply with "Y" and reattempt the payment again in 10 minutes. Otherwise, call us urgently on 0331 630 9459

Received a text (from +44 7594 849716) stating to be First Direct, including my full name stating their fraud system had declined an Amazon transaction for £375.00 (and quoting a reference number: CL8491AFM). Instructions to reply "Y" if it was me or otherwise call 0331 630 9459. Rang the bank directly and they confirmed it was not from them.
