First Direct: Hello, we've noticed your card was used for an online purchase at Argos.co.uk for £140.00 on 13-07-2025 (Reference: AC8491LG8X). If you made this transaction reply with "Y" and reattempt the payment again in 10 minutes. Otherwise, call us urgently on 0331 630 9459
Received a text (from +44 7594 849716) stating to be First Direct, including my full name stating their fraud system had declined an Amazon transaction for £375.00 (and quoting a reference number: CL8491AFM). Instructions to reply "Y" if it was me or otherwise call 0331 630 9459. Rang the bank directly and they confirmed it was not from them.
Texted me claiming to be from Nat West advising me a payment on eBay has been blocked by the fraud team and asking me to call them on this number. This is not Nat West number, beware,
