Reportedly housing association about damp etc in the house as the homeowner that is where they hit the buffers. Scam caller.
the person was making sexual comments after i called him out on his scam.
Yep, same happened. To me. I actually had a leak in my home recently so it was believable. I said that I had such problems to the caller and he passed me to his "supervisor", but then I realised I wasn't sure who was calling me. I asked the supervisor who they were and how they got my number as I hadn't actually reported my leak to anyone other than the council, and he responded by saying "if you'll just listen then I'll tell you all the information". I thought that was rude and even more suspicious so I told him to fuck off and hung up the phone.
Scam caller, I have already had my landlords workers out to check the black mold and leaks on the property. This is a phishing expedition do not fall for it. If you are scheduled for an inspection by your land lords services they will contact you to arrange dates not these guys.
Called today at 5.20pm, said they were calling from housing disrepair service about the accommodation problems I reported. I haven't reported any and own my own home, when I said this they hung up. SCAM ALERT
Mumbled a name and company then asked about damp and mould. I hung up as clearly a scam.
Yeah this is spam. Same mould nonsense. Also, hi everyone lol.
Unknown number, and my phone said potential scam, so I didn't answer. Did not leave a message, so I came here to check it out. Glad I did.
Called out of the blue asking whether I have reported any issue with my property and whether any damp or mould in the property! Its a scam
Caller asked if I had any problems with mold or water damage to.my property, I asked where the were calling from, they said they are working with local councils and housing associations and I said I'm not in a council or housing association property. They said also working with private tenants. I said I'm not a tenant I own the house (I am a private tenant but I knew it sounded a bit suss) as soon as I said I own the house they hung straight up
never answered...living in N.Ireland...3.30pm
Ring from your council damp and mould. When asked are your ring from Leeds they ended the call.
Caller told me that I had reported mould or water leaks but when questioned what address had been reported they hung up. Definitely a scam of some sort.
Called 13:17 on 01-07-25, asked about damp and mold saying that we’d been in touch with them at Housing Association, told them we hadn’t been in touch and are homeowners, he hung up.
Im going scam for this as i answered and they were speaking about water leaks and mold and they were saying they are calling from the housing association like the council but trouble is i own my own home so this is 100% fraud..... hard to hear what they were saying due to accent, speaks minimal English... i said i was going to hang up and he got all frantic saying no wait a minuet so seems scammy/fraudulent
