Person saying he was from British Gas called saying that due to the high cost of gas and electricity I could save money by moving over to British Gas and could he book me in with an adviser to go through my details. I said I was already with British Gas so there wouldn’t be any need for me to move over to them, and he hung up straight away. I think it was a scam - I’ve never heard of a utility company offering “advice” sessions. And they certainly shouldn’t hang up on you.
