I contacted this number after receiving a text and they stated that it was Santander. However, when I challenged them, and said that I had googled this number, they promptly hung up, Would defo say do not respond if you receive anything from this number, no doubt a scam. I live in the Glasgow area.

SMS received from a mobile stating they were "NatWest" and a Direct Debit had been set up [today] and if it was not me to call 0330 133 8828. I don't bank with NatWest - a call to this number just goes dead. I've no idea what the scam is, but definitely something to avoid.
