Claimed to be from my bank checking on a transaction they thought was fraud. Claimed £800 for M&S Money was outstanding from London. Realised straight away it was fraud as when I asked if the transaction would show on my statement they said no

Claimed to be from my bank. Had all my details, I noted my card was compromised whilst on the phone and they kept saying I needed to unfreeze it to proceed with the cancellation of the transactions. Both in Liverpool, a travel money company and TUI. Don’t trust them!

Call late evening Saying they were from my credit card company fraud team. They did have some details of my card no. Plus exp. date...my home address so sound genuine. TUI Liverpool were requesting a payment £1029 asked questions about any connection with Liverpool. Asked me to complete rest of my card no. And cvc number. Then wanted me to go on to my ap (while he was on the line) I hung up checked my account there was a transaction which I was able to decline and I froze my card. Called this number back and not the response I was expecting...ie not my credit card company so I believe this is a scam/fraud

Scam call pretending to be from Barclaycard fraud team calling to check on a potentially fraudulent transaction they had flagged up (in the Liverpool area, for over £2000 for Trips.com. It sounded fairly legit as they had my name, postcode & last 4 digits of my card. Call got cut off. When I called Barclaycard, they had no record of a call & no transactions on hold. Have cancelled my call.
