I asked where he was calling me from. (A) Housing Association and Council Housing, as "I" had made a complaint. I live in private/own home.
Called saying it was Danny from housing repairs, asked if I had any damp, mould or crack repairs, when I questioned what they were ringing for he hung up
Called. Same housing repair team. Do you have any damp mould issues as reported to your housing officer. When I questioned, hung up on me. Definitely a scam.

Hello welcome to the housing repairs team, I see you've reported some repairs. - yes Do you have any damp, mould or cracks? - cracks yes Let me put you on hold to transfer you to my supervisor. (I ended call, to me that was suspicious)
Caller said they were from Housing Repair. Asked me what repairs needed dealing with. Did I have mould or damp issues.. hung up when I asked why they had rung me.. caller hung up.. obviously a scam
Left me a voicemail the first time so I called back just in case and then they said ‘thank you for calling housing repair team’ - I’m a teenager so why would they be calling me about a house ?!
Called at 17:56 on 8 May 2026. Number unknown to me so let the call run to answering machine. Caller ended call and left no message. Clearly they were not interested in talking to me so I view this as a spam call. To my mind that makes them either Harassing or Dangerous.
Same thing, housing repair. Then just cut off
Had a missed call. Called it back and an automated message said “Hello and welcome to Housing Repairs Team”. Suspect it was a dodgy call.
