Caller said she was Anna Williams from O2 offering 40% discount on my monthly plan. I asked her where she was located and she said London. I said well why are you ringing using a N Ireland dialling tone. She assured me she was inLondon and ni Bet was company generated. She said she would send me some codes to confirm she was O2. WhenI advised her I was in N Ireland and the dialling code used was not a London number she said have a nice day and hung up. Called 02 who confirmed scammers. They pick random generated numbers and don’t think to check if everything goes up. Avoid!
The scammer claimed to be from O2 offering a discount. The silly cow was too busy asking who taught me the Hindi swearword I used to describe her that I was able to waste 3 minutes of her time.
Some fella called Darren porter, Turns out he is a woman beater so beware of him .
I ignored the call as had no idea who it was. Was from Northern Ireland. Suspect it was a cold call for some sort of service. Saw on here it purports to be for phone service. I am blocking the number.
Cold call. Rang off when I picked up. I blocked it and reported as Spam
Claiming to be from o2 offering me undefined "40% discount". Triggered text messages with account codes from o2. I didn't feel comfortable proceeding. Real person: even remembered he called me 3 days previously.
