Phoned saying were from Microsoft saying something was wrong with my computer. When I said this sounded like a scam they hung up.
A pattern is emerging from the people who use this and about 200 other numbers. As I am involved with the emergency services, I have alerted the police and they have been pro-active in trying to put traces on these very disruptive callers. I think the net is closing around the people behind this scam. Prison would be rather nice!
Yes, they called me 15th Oct at 1729 twice. First time line just hung up, second time I did not give them time - I simply pressed "Block This Call" on the Call Blocker. Good Bye to them!
