called 4 times in a row and no voicemail
Called 4 times, never left a voicemail or tesxt message, definetly a scam
2.6.26 A lady from this number called me saying she was from Merrion on behalf of HMRC asking if I had got a letter recently regarding Making Tax Digital. I said I had had an email but not a letter. She sounded genuine but my son says it will be a scam. I didnt give her any details luckily. She had my name.
Called twice, I didn’t answer but it never left a voicemail
Said a court hearing was scheduled for tomorrow re my tax arrears! As an accountant and tax adviser I will leave it you to guess how I replied!!
Called again this morning but no message left
Claiming to be from HMRC wanting to check details. just hung up on them
