• Caller ID: +442045385299 • Call Type: Unknown / Technical Follow-up User Report: Shortly after registering a new account on a well-known financial data platform, an unexpected early morning phone call was received from this British number (+442045385299). Upon answering, the automated system/caller immediately addressed the recipient by their correct registry name. Following standard cybersecurity best practices, the recipient remained entirely silent, causing the other party to hang up. A short time later, an official customer support email from the actual financial platform was received, referencing a support ticket and requesting a follow-up via their verified corporate contact details. Until now, verification is still ongoing to determine if the initial phone call was an unauthorized social engineering attempt utilizing recently scraped data, or a legitimate automated onboarding workflow. This is logged strictly as a factual sequence of events for community awareness.

I am Dr. Syed Waqas Bukhari from Pakistan. This no. call me, but i not attended the call.
Called me saying it was from Virgin Media. I don’t have any contract with Virgin Media but wanted to know until where it went, and they only asked me to confirm how much I pay. When I said I didn’t pay anything because I don’t have any contract with Virgin Media, they just put me on hold. I will say it’s scam. I blocked the number
