they said they're vodafone and my sim card was expiring. they knew all my details: name, birthday, address, sort code and account number. they knew my direct debit sum as well. Vodafone confirmed if any third party would get certain info from vodafone they would never get the banking info. the bank confirmed it's a scam too. block that number don't give any info to them.
Claimed to be from Vodafone and my SIM was being upgraded due to security issue, and the current one would be stop working in 3 days. However, I would have change my password (they sent a text and email that looked genuine - matched Vodafone's official ones). Disconnected and phoned Vodafone customers services to see if this was genuine and they said it was a scam
A make voice speaking very poor English language...States he is speaking from O2 Media...Quotes my last 3 numbers of my O2 cellphone and says the number is being blocked and something else that was not understandable, due to extremely poor English language spoken....I disconnected the caller.
