Claimed to be Bank of Scotland doing a fraud check after a rejected transaction. They got my name wrong and I haven't had any recent rejected transactions.

Called the telephone saying it was Halifax and that the card declined for a transaction. Wanted me to press any button on the telephone so that they could ‘investigate if it was fraud’ . Immediately blocked.
