Claim to be from O2. Ringing daily now so have blocked.
I had a call from this number offering an O2 discount. They'll try to get you to give them the code sent to your mobile phone that allows them to change the password to the email address that they've got you to confirm. I suspect that something unpleasant would then happen.
Said they were O2 and wanted to give 40% off bill, then wanted me to spell out my email as ID confirmation. Very phishy. Strong Indian accent.
Same as above
Couldn’t understand the accent. Rang off and blocked.
Strong Indian accent. Claiming from 02. Wanting to upgrade phone to 5g. Would send message to activate...
They told me my SIM card was being deactivated tomorrow. He said he was O2 and could send me a text and an e-mail, yet to receive either! to prove who he was and not to worry as he knew there were scams doing the rounds. I have been called several times by this number and similar numbers (last 4 digits vary) for a couple of months. The normal greeting is "I am from the O2 network"
O2 Provider new SIM scam - said her name was Luna with an indian accent
Said that they were from my phone provider. Very loud, very strong Indian accent. Told them to go away in short sharp jerky movements and blocked.
