Caller addressed me by a bogus name I had given to a caller some years ago. He said he was calling from the home assessment team. He said there were new govenment regulations about the safety and efficiency of my house and he wanted to arrange for someone to visit. When asked, he gave an address in Hampshire with a company name of Save with Heart with its phone number. He then passed me across to his manager who gave a lot of nonsence about the TPS, with which my number is registered. He told me I was on a register of home owners and as such his organisation was entitled to ring me (despite the fact that I had supplied a bogus name). The manager didn't let me speak and talked over me. He finally ended the call saying we were going around in circles. I am not certain that Save with Heart has any connection with this unsolicited call.
Just had the same call saying it was a government mandatory assessment. I asked which government department and he couldn’t answer
Caller said he was from Home Assessment Scheme. When I asked for his company address he said it was outside Manchester. I asked him for the postcode but he said it was a private company. He then passed me over to a supervisor, who gave a postcode of BS3 2LL which is that of Imperial Brands Ltd, Bristol. He said my property needed an insulation survey and it was my duty to have one. I said I was on TPS ; he said I needed to be on it for 30 days. I said I was on it for over 10 years at which point he ended the call,
