Automated call purporting to be from Lloyd’s wanting authorisation for a payment to Halfords for £600+. Option to cancel the transaction. I don’t have a Lloyd account so just hung up as I realised it was a scam. Blocked the caller.
SCAM- do not answer or disclose personal details! I got a call saying a payment was set up for 5pm from my Revolut account. Press 1 if I did not authorise it. I pressed one and was trasferred to someone from Revolut who kept asking me what other banks I use and if I had transferred money to or from my Revolut to another bank. He kept pressing and I said I'm not talking to him about my other bank accounts- he then hung up.
It was an automated message saying your payment of £225 to Ashfield is scheduled on your revolut, if you did not set up this payment please press 1. Which transferred me to "Steve from Revolut" who hung up when I asked if it was a scam
