01997 617450 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

The fact that there are more than 5 posts within 2 hours of my getting a call from this number says it all. Claiming to be vodafone and as I am coming to the end of my EE contract I thought i'd play along and much like another comment here the moment I called the gentleman out that after claiming he can see all my Vodafone profile information I asked him to confirm which email address did he have on the system but could not resite it to me and got very agro. Dont bother answering unless you wanna have fun messing with scammers.

Said he was from Vodafone offering me a 40% discount for being a loyal customer im not with Vodafone so played along asked me to confirm my email so he could send the details I said you confirm it to me he then went onto a spiel about how O2 record calls and data protection I informed him he had messed his script up as he was from Vodafone 2 secs ago and he hung up!

Claimed to be vodafone, checked on http://www.vodafone.co.uk/isvodafonecalling/ wich said it was not vodafone, have reported to the fraud team

Claimed to be discount and free phone. Wants my email address acting very urgent asked multiple times and wa willing to wait 35 minutes as I said I was driving home so couldn’t access my email
