Muffled rubbish about loft insulation, blocked.

Male caller claimed to be "an energy advisor for your area". He said that our property had come up on a survey as having inadequate loft insulation. I told him our loft insulation had been renewed last year. I also said "You are not an energy adviser but a scammer." Told him to get off my line and hung up.

Just received a call from 01997 617121 and I stayed silent. After 15 seconds or so the line went dead. My personal advice to anyone receiving similar calls is to wait until the caller speaks first and resist the temptation to get involved with any dialogue until they have positively identified themselves. Finally, block the number to stop future calls.
