01989564859 called me tonight and said they were from Car phone Warehouse. He had a very strong Asian accent. I said I wasn't interested but he was very very aggressive so I hung up and blocked the number.
Called me today, claiming to be from Carphone warehouse - when I explained I was not a customer of theirs I was told to f**k myself. How lovely, needless to say number has been blocked!

Unintelligble for a minute, then when I said I didn't understand they asked in a heavily accented voice (Indian?) whether I liked eating boiled eggs. Weird. I hung up.
Had a missed call 10 mins ago from this number. No vm and googling the number lead me to this slightly hilarious comments thread. Wish I had answered and sang !
just received call from this number. did not answer.
Caller claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. Gave the name of John but had a rather prominent Indian accent. Second call I have received today from ‘Carphone Warehouse’, but a different number used each time. My mum also had a call on her phone around an hour ago with someone suggesting they were from Carphone Warehouse. Clearly something dodgy going on!!
Indian sounding person called at 16:00, 09-Aug-21; claimed to be working with Carephone Warehouse as well as other mobile phone companies, offering Apple iPhone 11 for £30 per month, unlimited minutes, unlimited data, unlimited texts, free landline .... He was prepared to throw in airpods for free. In the end the line started to crackle and he disappeared If it's too good to be true .....
Woke me up from my afternoon nap, the b******s
just called me. Claimed to be Carphone Warehouse offering me a new phone. Sounded like an Indian call centre - most definitely a scam. I sang a song to him until he hung up
it’s not a scam number, numbers just been stolen and bt are sorting it - the owners of the number
Just received a call on my mobile from 01989 564 859 claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse (15:05 9th of Aug). When I asked where he had got my number he said it was a promotional call on behalf of Carphone Warehouse. I stated my number was TPS registered and therefore he/Carephone could be liable for a fine from the ICO. I have not given my consent to contact me and mentioned a Subject Access Request, I work within the data industry. He immediately told me 'F*ck you Mam, F*ck you Mam' and hung up the phone.
Caller with an accent from the Indian sub-continent claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. This doesn't seem to be a Carphone Warehouse number and I strongly suspect this is a scam. I hung up.
I answered and said hello - th ere was silence for a couple of seconds and then a lots of distortion noise /crackle and the y hung up.
Called, I answered but they hun up straight away
they call me next thing I knew I heard lots of wind in background then they hung up
