Surprised when the man on the phone asked me if I was an energy supplier, I wasn’t expecting that but blocked anyway as I’m sure it was a scam/spam call
Was a call about appliance cover, saying my cover was coming to and end and gave me some offers to renew which would save me money. Also offered 2 x gift cards for Sainsburys and Morrisons. In order to do this, and to prevent any scams, he said they only took payment by cheque. He asked how my name appears on my cheque book. When I said I didn't have a cheque book, he said I can't have the offer and hung up!
