cl.aim to be o2 and offered a 40% discount on future bills then sent a code it is a scam

Told me they where form O2 and going to give me 30% off my bills, I didn’t need to do anything as it was automatic but I needed to go through security questions first, SCAM!!

Claimed to be Nancy from O2 who gave me the wonderful news that my number had been chosen to receive 30% off my monthly bill. I told her that that sounds like a great deal but can you tell me what my current monthly bill is. Obviously not knowing this information and calling from and Indian scamming boiler room she hung up.

Indian accent-hard to understand but some sort of scam for an iPhone 14.

Yeah, I missed this call but checked here. I've had the one saying they were ringing about my Virgin bank account. I don't have one, they said I did and somehow had my bank card number. He then said he was from the financial conduct authority, he than asked if my account was with halifax, this guy was rubbish. As some of the previous comments say, they would have the information requested if they really were who they said they were.

Called then hung up

Claimed they were from o2 looking to pay off my contract early and give me a iphone 14 256gb for less that I am paying now and they'd pay off the last 2 years of my contract. High likelyhood of scam as my contract is less than a year into its 3 year fixed term

Spam call - claimed to be from carphone warehouse and said about a new deal they have with the Samsung 20 ultra , then I hung up!

Said he was from o2 and offered me 60GB for £5 a month, which is an improvement on my 40GB for £8, but then asked me for my name. I told him he called me so should know my name and he couldn’t. Definite scammer.

Claimed to be from O2 and offering discounts. I hung up when they went to forward the call.

Hung up. No message. Assumed robot caller
